Performance Academy Christmas Skit
Narrator: Once upon a time there were 7 adorable elves that worked for Santa: Grumpy, Sneezy, Sleepy, Happy, Bashful, Sleepy and Dopy Elf. They worked hard every day making toys for little girls and boys, but since the Disney Channel was their FAVORITE channel, they often had dreams of being a STAR!
Grumpy: Knock, Knock
Happy: Who’s there
Grumpy: Snow
Happy: Snow who?
Grumpy: There’s snow business like show business!
Sneezy: Growing up in a small town (sneeze), I just don’t think there’s any... (sneeze) WAY you could make it in show biz.
Grumpy: There’s no way YOU could make it, I love being from a little town and I’ll still get there!
BOONDOCKS - Alec Lowry
Sneezy: Yeah (almost sneeze but not), I like being from where Santa is. Maybe I could put a video of my singing on YouTube and they would see me... (almost sneeze) there.
Grumpy: With my jokes, they would LOVE me! What do you call people who are afraid of Santa Clause?
Sneezy: (sneeze) I don’t know.
Grumpy: Claus-trophobic!
Sneezy: That’s so funny! Claus-trophobic!!! Hahah!! A-choo!!! Ya got me laughin’ so hard, Grumpy. Ya don’t seem so grumpy today!
Grumpy: Yes, I am!!! (Frowny-face and walks off)
Sneezy: I’m in the mood to dance (almost sneeze). Turn that radio up! I’ve got to practice for Disney!
HOEDOWN THROWDOWN - Annabell
Happy: That was so much fun! Do you see those snowmen out there? They looked like they wanted to dance with us too!
Sleepy: hahah!! That would be like Dancing with the Stars.... you know... us!
Grumpy: (Looks at Sleepy, then Happy) That’s impossible!
Happy: Bashful, do you know what Snowmen eat for breakfast?
Bashful: Hmmm...no, I don’t know.
Happy: Frosted Flakes! Hahahha!!!
Bashful: Hey look, there’s Rudolph out there playing his reindeer games.
RUDOLPH THE RED NOSED REINDEER - Taj Campbell
Bashful: Hey Sleepy, do you know why Prancer is always wet?
Sleepy: (yawn) uh..... no
Bashful: Because he’s a RAIN-DEER!!! hahaha!!! (then quickly hides her face)
Happy: That was a good one, Bashful! See, you think you’re shy but you could make it on Disney. You’re so cute if they could see you, they’d want you for sure. Me, I believe... one day....
THE CLIMB - McKenzie Hyde
Grumpy: Wow! That was inspiring....not.
Sleepy: Why do you have to be so mean?
(Everyone shakes heads and says, “Yeah! Why?”)
MEAN - Sleepy
Grumpy: I’m not mean. Just telling it like it is!... Hey Sleepy... do you know what you get if you cross a snowman with a shark?
Sleepy tiredly shakes her head.
Grumpy: Frost bite! hahaha!!! (Acts like he’s biting her)
Happy: Oh Grumpy, be happy. It’s almost Christmas!
Doc: Ah, don’t worry about that foul humor, irritable, and surly young lad. In my conscious mind I have come to a hypothetical conclusion that his purpose in acting grumpy is solely an attempt to fit in, or in other words harmoniously co-exist within this spectrum.
Happy: Oh, Doc. You always make me laugh!
Doc: Why? Do I make you express certain emotions, usually delight by a series of spontaneous, usually unarticulated sounds often accompanied by corresponding facial and bodily movements?
Happy: Um, I’m not sure what that means, but I have a joke for you! Why does Santa have 3 gardens?
Doc: I would come to the conclusion that- (cut off)
Happy: So he can HOE, HOE, HOE!!!!
Grumpy: Hoe, hoe, hump!
Doc: Hahahaha!!!
WHO SAYS by Elleah
Doc: Yes, my favorite time of the year. But do you know why it means so much more to me?
Grumpy: No, hmph.
Doc: Because we’re celebrating the birth of our Savior, Jesus Christ.
(Music starts as Narrator reads Luke 10-11)
AWAY IN A MANGER - Doc
Dopy: I love baby Jesus. I hope this time of year we remember what it’s all about.
